Talika Bust Phytoserum Review

Talika Bust Phytoserum looks smart and comes with a lot of claims, but is it really worth the price tag? The stylish bottle-in-a-bottle effect certainly looks the part, but the pump action is shallow and so only a small amount of serum is dispensed at any one time; for larger busts it is necessary to depress the top several times, being careful not to undo the pump which can easily come loose. One nice feature is that the inner bottle lifts as you use it so that you can see how much you have left.

Based on clinical trials, the “natural push-up effect fluid” promises to improve the appearance of the bust in terms of volume, firmness, lift and hydration after 28 days. The secret, apparently, is the combination of plant-based African beauty treatments and ancient Ayurvedic techniques and the packaging even tells you which ingredient helps with each desired effect: volume (Mangosteen, quince, Bioferment sea kelp, Mukul Bark extract); lift and firmness (oat sugars, rose extract, raspberry seed oil, horse chestnut); and hydration (hyaluronic acid).

Application is simply described as a figure of eight massaging motion from the base of the chest upwards, however after a month of use I remained unconvinced that I had reaped “the generosity of Nature’s bounty” as promised. Instead it felt like I had merely indulged in regular use of a nice moisturiser as the cream is very light, delicately perfumed and easily absorbed into the skin. My chest definitely feels more hydrated as a result of using this product, but sadly none of the other assurances – increased volume, improved firmness and a natural lift – was noticed.

If you really want to get the full experience, you are encouraged to try the mini-challenge, using both Bust Phytoserum and Back Up 3D which is a similar product billed as the first “push-up effect” ultra-serum to lift and firm the buttocks.

Verdict: An easily-absorbed light moisturising cream with a fine fragrance which hydrates the delicate décolletage. Sadly it fails to “reap the generosity of Nature’s bounty” in terms of firmness, volume and lift.
