Sampar Lift Me Up Bust Cream Review

Retailing at £57.00 for just 50ml, the Sampar Lift Me Up Bust Cream is one of the more expensive products, so it’s such a shame that the unusual packaging lets it down. The small cylinder in the Winsome Body range certainly looks smart, but the see-through cap is impossible to get off if you have damp hands as there is no purchase point. You then have to turn the pot upside down and depress the top, but the cream squirts out of the central hole in a dip and smears all over the top. Even when you get the hang of it, you end up having to wipe it clean after every use to avoid dried residue in the next application.

The poor pump design aside, the cream is actually very nice. It says it is inspired by African traditions; “Kigelia Africana is a sacred tree praised for its rich fruit. In addition to its medicinal properties, women on the island of Cape Verde traditionally use the fruit’s pulp to enhance the bosom.” As such, it claims to leave the bust firmed, toned and lifted, while preventing the appearance of stretch marks.

The cream feels as rich as it promises, is smooth to apply and easily absorbed; the skin is left very hydrated and soft to the touch. A well-moisturised décolleté will certainly help prevent stretch marks and the skin’s elasticity was noticeably improved. The delicate formula of Kigelia, shea butter and chestnut has a pleasant fragrance, so if you don’t mind the odd pump action and you’ve got the money, then this is a good investment.

Verdict: The Sampar Lift Me Up Bust Cream is a very rich, luxurious moisturising cream with a delicate fragrance, however the clumsy dispensing action rather spoils this expensive product.
