Elemis Pro Collagen Lifting Treatment Review

Elemis Pro Collagen Lifting Treatment is a cream which promises to address the signs of ageing on the décolletage, giving you a “smoother, firmer, more youthful looking neck and bust.” Specifically, it has been “clinically proven to reduce skin crepiness by up to 33%, increase skin firmness by up to 17%, and elasticity by up to 14%.” And for the price, you certainly would expect to see dramatic results.

The cream is exceptionally rich, and you can almost feel it giving the delicate neck and bust skin some much-needed moisture. This does indeed achieve visible improvement in the appearance of the skin and reduces obvious signs of ageing. However, such a cloying cream has its drawbacks: it does not spread well and so you really need to use a lot to cover the entire bust and neck as suggested (if you were to use it morning and night as directed, one bottle would not last a month); and while it undoubtedly penetrates the epidermis for deep nourishment, the cream leaves the skin so moisturised it almost feels permanently damp.

The name of the cream suggests that the bust would be lifted as well, but confusingly that is not part of its sales pitch and no real improvement was noticed; the creamy solution is all about the appearance of the skin. For such an expensive product, frankly you would expect more and there are better bust creams available. That said, if you want a seriously smooth youthful-looking bust, you could do worse.

Verdict: An ultra-rich moisturising cream which achieves its goal of “reducing skin crepiness” and “increasing firmness and elasticity”. However, while it undoubtedly fights the signs of ageing, for such an expensive product there are several drawbacks.
