Clarins Bust Beauty Extra Lift Gel Review

Priced at £42.50 for 50ml, Clarins Bust Beauty Extra Lift Gel is described as ‘an invisible natural bra’, promising to strengthen, firm, tone and smooth the bust instantly thanks to ingredients such as Oat Sugars, Vu Sua and vitamins E and B5. Like all Clarins products, it contains lots of natural plant extracts to moisturise and treat the skin.

Packaged in a chic-looking frosted glass bottle and with its semi-transparent appearance, the Clarins Bust Beauty Extra Lift Gel won’t look out of place in amongst designer fragrances on your dressing table.

According to the instructions, the gel should be applied once daily (in the morning for best results) with “light, sweeping movements from the base of the breasts to the chin”.

The gel has a lovely, light consistency and it absorbs really quickly – I had no problem with getting dressed almost immediately after applying the gel. Unlike some gel products, it doesn’t feel sticky at all. It has a lovely fresh, almost herbal scent and creates a cooling, fresh and almost tingly feeling when applied.

Of course, as with any beauty product, the most important factor is whether Clarins Bust Beauty Extra Lift Gel actually works. Does it deliver on its promises? And, after using the Gel every day for four weeks (as a guide, the 50ml bottle was used up in just under a month) I can honestly say that, whilst my breasts themselves don’t appear to be any firmer or ‘uplifted’, the skin of my bust, chest and neck is softer, smoother and generally looks and feels a lot better.

The Clarins Bust Beauty Extra Lift Gel is the first bust-specific product I’ve ever used and is probably a bit more expensive than most products I would normally buy – but it certainly didn’t disappoint!

Verdict: Chic packaging which won’t look out of place amongst designer fragrances, a lovely fresh scent and a tingly feeling means this product didn’t disappoint despite its relative high price.
